The City of El Centro will host a Virtual Community Meeting on Measure T.

Measure T will be on the November 3, 2026, General Election ballot. The measure, if passed, would add an additional 1/2 cent sales tax in the city. The additional revenue, an estimated $8.4 million a year, would go into the city's General Fund. On Monday, August 24, 2026, the city will host the virtual presentation that will address how the additional tax will affect you. Following the presentation, ZOOM attendees will be able to submit questions. Questions may also be submitted in advance. The presentation starts at 6:00 p.m. The ZOOM ID is 829-7724-4338.
