The Brawley City Council will meet Monday.

A Special Meeting has been called with a limited agenda. Council will convene in Closed Session at 5:30 p.m. for a conference with their labor negotiator over agreements for several employee bargaining units. Open Session should convene at 6:00 p.m. The council will consider the award of a contract for emergency repair work to the access road to the Water Treatment site. The nearly $230,000 agreement will repair damage caused by recent storms. Council will also consider the possible waiver of fees for a Soap Box Derby scheduled for October 31, 2026. A waiver of fees for the Imperial Valley United Soccer Association will also be considered. The council meets at Brawley City Hall.
