The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for the Imperial Valley.

Temperatures are expected to peak at 116 by the weekend. There are Cool Centers and Hydration Stations throughout the Imperial valley to provide some relief. The public libraries in Brawley, Calexico, Heber, Holtville, Calipatria, Imperial and Salton Sea Beach are available. Calexico Neighborhood House, Imperial Valley Mall Food Court, Holtville City Hall, and the Hut in Holtville, Imperial Valley Desert Museum in Ocotillo are available as well as cool centers in Seeley and Niland.
