Two children reported missing after being abducted by a non-custodial parent were recovered safely.

U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Indio Station of the El Centro Sector located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle on Interstate 15 near Yermo, California. The CHP dispatched a helicopter to help monitor the vehicle as it continued southbound. The vehicle was stopped in Barstow, and the children were safely recovered. The non-custodial parent was taken into custody.
