(Murder suspects in court)...Their preliminary hearing was held Wednesday.

23-year-old Genaro Lemus and 25-year-old Matthew Nathan Garnica are accused in the murder of 43-year-old Steven Angulo in Brawley. The shooting happened in February. Court proceedings were held up because Garnica had to be extradited bak to Imperial County. Wednesday both suspects entered not guilty pleas. Their trial date was set for September 23rd to allow defense attorneys' coordinate a strategy for defense. The suspects will be tried together.
