A Holtville man is in jail following a Sunday morning burglary.

Imperial County Sheriffs deputies from the Holtville station responded to a burglary at a residence in the 800  block of Elm Street in Holtville. Several items, including cash, were missing from the residence. As the investigation progressed, deputies developed several leads which led to the identity of a possible suspect. On Monday, deputies arrested 26-year-old Eric Vizacarra. Several items taken in the burglary were recovered at Vizcarra's residence. The suspect was booked into Imerial County Jail for Burglary and Probation Violation.
