(Car fire)…It was reported at just after 9:00 Thursday morning.

The California Highway Patrol says the vehicle caught fire in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 8, near the Dunaway Road Off-ramp. Imperial County Fire was called to put out the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been released.
