(The Margarita Showdown)...The fifth annual event was held late last week.

It is hosted by the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce. It was held at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse. When it was all said and done, Los Vigilantes not only took first prize, but also won the Judges Choice and Best Booth. The winning entry is called El Borracho and is a Tamarind Margarita. Organizers projected the World Cup on a Big Screen as attendees sampled drinks and enjoyed appetizers.
