(Two seizures at the San Ysidro Port of Entry).....In the first seizure, a 27 year old woman drove a 2019 Honda into the port.
The Mexican national and her vehicle were sent to the secondary inspection area. During the inspection a non-intrusive image revealed anomalies in the roof of the vehicle. A search revealed 94 packages concealed in the roof. The packages contained around 35 pounds of Fentanyl powder valued at around $1.95 million. and over 80 pounds of methamphetamine, valued at around $80,550 The 2nd incident involved a 20 year old male Mexican Citizen driving a 2025 Toyota. The driver was enrolled in the SENTRI program. He and he vehicle were sent to the secondary inspection area. Officers inspected the vehicle and discovered six packages containing 14.02 pounds of white Fentanyl powder. Both Vehicles and narcotics were sized. Both drivers are facing federal prosecution
