It's almost like a scene from a movie.
El Centro Police, responding to a spate of recent vehicle thefts, four vehicles stolen over the weekend, 10 taken in the past month, hit the streets in a proactive operation. On Monday detectives located a suspicious vehicle with four occupants. Officers attempted an enforcement stop but the vehicle fled laeding to a pursuit. The pursuit ended with four suspects detained. Officers determined that they were all connected to an organized stolen vehicle ring operating in the Imperial Valley. Detectives recovered two Auto key programming devices and multiple cell phones commonly used by car thieves. Two adult suspects were booked into Imperial CountyJail and two juvenile suspects were booked into Juvenile Hall. The investigation continues.
