An El Centro man was arrested for burglary, and his two companions were arrested on drug charges.
Imperial County Sheriff's deputies investigating a Friday morning burglary were able to develop information that led them to an El Centro residence. When they approached the residence deputies saw several items that had been reported stolen by the victim of the burglary. Deputies were also able to identify a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in the crime. The suspect vehicle was located in El Centro and as deputies approached the vehicle they saw narcotics in plain sight inside the vehicle. A search led to more items reported stolen in the burglary. Deputies arrested William Wright, 27, of El Centro, and charged him with burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 26-year-old Humberto Contreras of Brawley was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and 35-year-old Sharina Valenzuela of Imperial, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. All three were booked into Imperial County Jail.
