(The Imperial Irrigation District has secured the disaster damage funds)..... The district says they have secured more than $22 million in state disaster funding.

The funds are to repair storm-damaged infrastructure and help reduce the financial impact on its customers following major storm events last year. The district worked proactively with its governmental partners to pursue funding through the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services under the California Disaster Assistance Act for damage caused by severe storms that impacted IID's Service area in August and mid-September 2025.
