(County Treasurer/Tax Collector Suzanne Bermudez issued the reminder)...The reminder is for all taxpayers.

The second installment of real property taxes will become delinquent if not paid by 5 pm April 10th. Bermudez says payments must be in her offices by 5 pm or bear a postmark of April 10th. She says online payments may be made through a link until 11:45 pm April 10th. The link can be found at the Treasurer/Tax Collector website. Delinquent parcels will receive a 10% penalty and a $10 cost affective April 11th. Property owners who have paid their taxes through impound accounts but have recently refinanced or paid off their home loans should be aware that they may now be responsible for paying the property tax bills themselves.
