March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

The Imperial County made the declaration recently. The month celebrates the achievements and contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the community. The Board also acknowledged the dedication of families who work tirelessly to promote inclusion, independence and equal opportunity in the county.
