As it stands right now the candidates for US Congress 25th District are incumbent Raul Ruiz, a Democrat. He is being challenged by non-partisan Ryan Dean Burkett and Republicans Joe Males, Ceci Andrade Truman and Ronald Huffman. In the State Senate District 18, Republican Kelly Sayarto, Democrat Tifanie Tate and Marlon Ware, no party affiliation. For State Assembly 36th District, incumbent Jeff Gonzales a republican challenged by Democrats Tomas Oliva, Ida Obeso-Martinez and Oscar Ortiz, For Superior Court Judge Seat 1 the candidates are Ben Salorio and Veronica Henderson. For County Assessor, Incumbent Robert Menvielle is being challenged by Ricardo Avila. For County Supervisor District 1 Incumbent Jeus Eduardo Escobar is being challenged by Joong Kim and Enrique "Kiki" Alvarado. For County Supervisor District 5, incumbent John Hawk is being challenged by Patricia Patty Lizarraga and Lorena Minor-Montes. For Imperial Irrigation District Division 1 incumbent Alex Cardenas is being challenged by Carlos Duran. IID Division 3 incumbent Gina Dockstader is running unopposed. In IID Division 5 incumbent Karin Eugenio is challenged by Eric L. Rodriguez. The top 2 in each race will face off in November.
