Two traffic stops netted a bundles of cash.

U.S. Border Patrol agents stopped a vehicle on Interstate 10 and found nearly $76,000 in cash in a hidden compartment. The driver of the vehicle, a U.S. citizen, was found to have an outstanding warrant for narcotics violation. At the Highway 86 checkpoint, over $37,000 in cash was found in bundles inside luggage. In both cases, the individuals involved were charged and the cash seized.
