( Bill to lower gas prices)...Assembly Bill 1745 has been submitted by Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez.

If approved, the bill would suspend the California 61 cent per gallon state gas tax for one year. The bill would also require all savings be passed on directly to drivers, and ensure transparency by showing the tax savings on fuel receipts The bill is backed by Gonzalez and several other Republican lawmakers.
