An accident reported early Monday morning resulted in charges of Driving Under the influence.

The accident was reported at about 2:45 a.m. Monday on westbound Interstate 8 near Ocotillo. A vehicle was reported to be stuck in the center divider some 1000 feet off the roadway.  There was no one around the vehicle at that time. The driver was subsequently located and following medical clearance was charged with Driving Under the Influence.
