(Brawley City Council met this week)....At the meeting there was a special presentation.

In recognition of Black History Month, the city council presented a proclamation honoring James and Brenda Haley for their lifetime of service, leadership and positive influence within the Brawley community. James Haley was recognized for his distinguished military and federal service, mentorship in athletics and education, and spirriual leadership. Brenda Haley was commended for her steadfast faith, strength and devotion that have unified families and strengthened the community.
