A Salton City man has been arrested for the murder of T'Neya Tovar.
On Friday, February 13, 2026, at 7:30 a.m., deputies from the Imperial County Sheriff's Office, the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team as well as agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), served a search warrant at a residence in the 2800 block of Harlequin Court in Salton City. When deputies made contact at the residence, a man was observed jumping a fence in an apparent attempt to avoid the officers. The man, 51-year-old Abraham Feinbloom, was quickly take into custody. The suspect was questioned by FBI agents while the residence was searched. Feinbloom was then booked into Imperial County Jail on charges of Murder and Resting a Peace Officer. Feinbloom is being held without bail. TheImperial County Sheriff's Office acknowledged the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Riverside County Sheriff's Office and the Imperial County District Attorney's Office in the ongoing investigation. T'Neya Tovar, 17, was reported missing in December 2025, in January of 2026, a human leg was found near Salton City and those remains were later verified to be that of Tovar.
