A motorcycle rider was fatally injured in a Saturday night accident.

Yuma County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of the accident at 9:24 p.m.Saturday at County14th and Avenue B. According to the initial investigation, a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was northbound on Avenue B when it ran into the rear of a Honda CR-V that was also northbound. The motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike. The Honda driver sustained minor injuries. The motorcycle rider, 34-year-old Abraham Cora, of Yuma, was transported to the hospital where h succumbed to his injuries. The accident remains under investigation. Speed may have been a contributing factor.
