(The El Centrro City Council meets tonight)....The Council will be asked to approve plans for a 2026 Streets Overlay Project.

The project was created by the El Centro Public Works Administration and Engineering Divisions. They will discuss and possibly approve an agreement with Burke, Williams and Sorenson LLP to provide City Attorney services. The Council will also discuss phase 2 of the Veteran's Wall. Phase 2 would expand the Veteran's Memorial Wall in Bucklin Park and also include the demolition and reconstruction of a failed wall by the pond, along with grading, drainage, landscaping, lighting and electrical upgrades. They will also discuss funding for the project
