(Heber Tamale Festival is coming)....The 6th annual event will be held in Heber on Saturday January 17.

Organizers say it will be bigger and better than ever. While Tamales are the featured attraction, the festival offers a lot more. There will be a car show, musical entertainment, a jalapeno eating contest, a grito contest, a dancing competition and a lot more. Food vendors will feature tamales, but will also have tacos, elotes etc. There will be costumed characters, cosplay, face painting, candy and kids' activities. Admission is free.
