There was a special presentation. California's water, tribal and agricultural leaders presented a comprehensive framework for a durable, basin-wide operating agreement for the Colorado River. They highlighted the state's proposal for conserving 440,000 acre-feet of water per year. California underscored the state's leadership, collaboration and long-term stewardship of shared water resources that inform it approach to post-2026 negotiations.
