(Some utility bills arriving later than usual)....The problem is in El Centro.

The City says they are aware of the problem. They say the delay is due to the high volume of mail handled by the US Postal service during this busy time of year. The City and its third-party billing contractor continue to process and send bills in a timely manner. Bills are due on the 15th of the month, however, all late fees will be waived for this billing cycle. The city says they appreciate the patience and understanding.
