The building is not complete, but El Centro Police are moving into their new headquarters.

The move began on Tuesday. The transition to the new offices resulted in some down time for administrative communications operations but the emergency lines functioned. The construction activity will continue for several months with completion scheduled for first quarter of 2026. Visitors are advised to use the Main Street entrance to the new headquarters.
