Imperial Valley holiday events continue.
Thursday evening will see the Imperial Valley Choral Society lick-off their 2025-2026 season with A Holiday Spectacular, concert featuring the Master Chorale, Imperial Valley String Quartet and Imperial Valley talent. There will be a sing-along as well as the story of Christmas and a performance of Handel's Messiah. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church in El Centro.
Also on Thursday evening is the City of El Centro's Sixth & Market Days in downtown El Centro. Local products, entertainment and community connection are part of the experience. The event is from 6;00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 6th and Maiin Streets downtown El Centro.
Friday will see the Imperial Parade of Lights. The parade starts at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Imperial.
Saturday will be the Calexico Christmas parade. The annual event will pass through downtown Calexico starting at 10:)) a.m.
Saturday is also Christmas in a Small Town with fun, food, entertainment and fellowship in downtown Imperial.
Sunday will see the first ever Imperial County Giant Public Menorah Lighting The lighting of the Menorah will celebrate the start of Hannukah with festive music, latkes and donuts. The celebration will be at Eager Park in Imperial and is free.
