(County Supervisors meet Tuesday)...The Board convenes at 8:30 in the morning.

They will go directly into closed session. They will discuss existing litigation, including the Comite Civico Del Valle, Earthworks litigation, as well as the Acosta litigation, Alvarez and Aguayo litigation. They will discuss anticipated litigation. And the Board will discuss appointing a new Human Resources Director and a new Public Works Director. Afternoon session begins at 1 pm. On the action agenda the board will discuss and possibly approve a two year moratorium on converting Ag land for solar and/or battery energy development to no more than 7% of total agricultural land. They will discuss a letter of support for Controlled Thermal Resources Hell's Kitchen Lithium and Power Projects. They will discuss appointing a Board Member to serve on the Salton Sea Conservancy Board of Directors. There will be two Public Hearings. One dealing with procurement, and several Planning and Development issues.
