( Imperial Valley College announces an historic first)...This weekend, IVC will host its first-ever Fall Commencement ceremony.

It will be held Saturday, December 6th at 9 am. The ceremony will be held in the Depaoli Sports Complex. An  estimated 322 graduates are expected to participate, representing 50.47 percent of the 638 students eligible to earn degrees this Fall. They say the fall ceremony offers students who completed their academic requirements in the summer or fall terms the opportunity to graduating without having to waiting for the traditional spring event. The top academic disciplines represented this fall include Psychology, Nursing and Allied Health and Administration of Justice.
