(County Fire has safety tips)....Several Christmas's are ruined every year because of fire.

Many of the fires are caused by Christmas Trees that catch fire. Christmas Trees can go up in flames in second. The fires are usually caused by Christmas tree decorations. Be safe. Natural trees need to be hydrated every day. Christmas tree lights should have secure connections. Inspect the chords to be sure there are no frayed, are not broken, torn or any other damage. Candles on trees are a very bad idea. Be safe and make sure fire does not destroy your Christmas.
