A driver was arrested following a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation.

El Centro Police were conducting a Driving Under the Influence saturation operation last week when officers stopped a vehicle for the violation. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle. During that search, a meth pipe and approximately 17 grams of methamphetamine were located. The driver was arrested and charged with Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale.
