The Imperial County Board of Supervisors has proclaimed September 2025 as Childhood Canver Awareness Month.

The proclamation was approved at the Tuesday board meeting and is to honor children and families affected by childhood cancers, recognize the courage of young parents, and commend the dedication of healthcare providers and advocates. The proclamation also highlights the importance of awareness, research, and community support to ensure children receive the care and hoipe they deserve.
