Thunderstorms ripped through the Imperial Valley for a second day on Sunday.

The thunderstorms were accompanied by blowing sand and dust as well as heavy rain that limited visibility for drivers. Some flooding was recorded as well as fallen trees and downed power lines. Scattered power outages were also reported. The American Red Cross was asked to set up a shelter in Seeley for residents displaced by the storms damage.
