The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday.
The board held a public hearing and approved an extension and amendments to the Develop agreement for the CED Wisteria Solar Project. The agreement was first approved in 2015 and included 16 permits for solar energy development. So far 5 are completed and operational and 11 still pending. The board's approval supports the continued development of renewable energy infrastructure in the Valley.
On the Consent Agenda, the board approved a $650,000 agreement with Health Management Associates to guide Imperial County Behavioral Health through the transition from the Mental Health Services Act to the Behavioral Health Services Act. The one year contract is to ensure compliance , securing funding, and improve the delivery of service.
