A burglar was arrested Monday night by El Centro Police.

Officers responded to a report of a commercial burglary in progress and quickly set up a perimeter around the building with officers, the ECPD Drone Team and K-9 units. The drone pilot was able to locate a suspect hiding in a large mound of dirt, attempting to bury himself. The K-9 Jax and patrol officers were able to pinpoint the suspects location. The would be crook surrendered without incident and was booked into Imperial County Jail on burglary charges.
