(The Brawley Water Tower will be coming down in August)....The tower is located in Hinojosa Park in Brawley.

The process to bring the tower down began 3 years ago. The city says demolition will be in August. The original plan was to keep the tower as a Historic Monument, but it did not meet the standards to qualify. The funds needed to bring the tower down is from a grant obtained by a previous City Council.
