(A person found early Thursday morning)....The California Highway Patrol says the person was found at around 1:20 in the morning

It was on East Worthington Road near the Highway 111 off-ramp. The person originally stated they did not know if they had been hit by a vehicle or not. No vehicle was seen in the area. Paramedics examined the victim, who told them they had been hit by a vehicle. The victim was flown to an out of county hospital to be examined and treated. The CHP is investigating the incident as a hit and run with injuries.
