(County Supervisors first meeting in July)....The meeting is Tuesday.

The Supervisors will begin the meeting by recognizing the recipients of Agricultural Benefit Program Scholarships. A Certificate of Recognition will be presented to Sher Cowie for completing 2 years of Presidency with the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce. Afternoon session begins at 1 pm, On the action calendar, the Supervisors will convene as the Air Pollution Control Board. They will discuss appointing 3 Public Members and 2 Public Member Alternates to the Air Pollution Control District Hearing Board for terms of 3 years, as requested by the Board Chairman John Hawk. They will adjourn as the Air Pollution Control Board and reconvene as the County Board of Supervisors. They will discuss appointing five community members to the County Public Benefit Advisory Committee. The Public Health Department will request several Hazardous Materials Specialist positions. The Board will also discuss the Adult Residential Substance User Disorder Treatment Facility. The meeting will be held in the Board Chambers at the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro.
