(County Supervisors approve agreement with Kathleen Lang)....She is the new County Executive Officer. Lang started her new job today, Friday.

At their meeting Tuesday, the Board approved the employment agreement with Lang. The annual salary comes in at $290,000, with $136,000 in benefits. The total package come is at $426,000 The benefits include retirement, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, sick leave and vacation time and a car allowance. The contract also allows the CEO to negotiate a salary increase. The package was approved on a 3-1 vote Tuesday, with District 1 Supervisor Jesus Escobar voting no to the agreement.
