A Thursday afternoon traffic accident caused the closure of a county road.

At about 4:30 p.m. Thursday a hay baler struck a utility pole at Hunt and Bonds Corner Roads. The pole fell on top of the baler and power lines were hanging low over the roadway. There were no injuries but Bonds Corner Road between Hunt Road and Interstate 8 was shut down for repairs to the pole and wires.
