(A Panga with 9 illegal entrants)...It was stopped off the coast of San Diego.

Air surveillance spotted the Panga at around 9:30 March 4th. A CBP vessel was sent to inspect the panga. The smugglers refused to stop. Marine Interdiction Agents then moved in and fired a few rounds. The panga came to a halt. Agents boarded the panga and found 9 illegal migrants. Four were Brazilians, two Mexican Nationals Two Nepalese, and one Chinese. They were all adult males. They were all taken ashore for processing.
