(The Amber Alert was issued Tuesday)...Two children were missing after their mother was found shot to death in Hanford, California.

The father of the children Alexis Maldonado Cruz was suspected of taking the girls. He is also suspected in the shooting death of the children's mother. The Amber Alert said the suspect was probably headed for Mexico. It was accurate. Maldonado Cruz reportedly turned himself into authorities at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. The children was located and they were not harmed. Maldonado Cruz was arrested.
