The Drug Enforcement Administration hosts periodic Drug Take Back Days. It allows residents to clear out expired and unused medications from their homes. In the latest event, the DEA Collected 150 pounds of unused medications from Imperial County. In the entire DEA San Diego Field Division collected 4,000 pounds of drugs from 30 locations in San Diego and Imperial Counties. In addition, 789 pounds was collected from the year round drop boxes
