A Needs Assessment Study will be conducted in the Imperial Valley.

The study will be conducted by RAND and is designed to understand the potential workforce opportunities presented by the development of Lithium Valley. As part of the work, RAND will host two townhall meetings, on Tuesday, October 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at Grace Smith Elementary School in Niland and on Wednesday, October 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the El Centro Public Library. Imperial County residents are encouraged to attend and share perspectives, impressions and concerns.
