(Brawley City Council Meets Tuesday)...The Council has a long action agenda on Tuesday.
They convene at 6 pm with public appearances, On the action agenda, they will go over the annual financial reports. The Mayor will present a resolution to appoint two new members to the Brawley Community Improvement Committee. The Council will consider renewing the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. They will consider a street closure and waiver of fees for the Saint Margaret Mary's Kermes event. They will consider a letter of support for the IVRMA's project to encourage responsible waste management practices in the Imperial County Region. The council will also consider a letter of support for the Fort Yuma Quechan Indian Tribe to obtain national monument protections for their homelands managed by the Bureau of Land Management in Imperial County. They will consider action to approve a contract for continued Wastewater Pretreatment support. They are expected to reject bids to the Traffic Synchronization project. The city council meets in their chambers on Main Street.
