A brush fire Friday night has impacted communication services.

According to the County of Imperial, a vegetation fire near Even Hewes Highway and State Route 115 has damaged AT&T lines. This  disrupted both landline and cellular service from east of Highway 115 and mid-Yuma. AT&T technicians from San Diego were dispatched to restore communications by setting up a portable line. According to the county, service was expected to be restored by 3:00 a.m. Saturday. Crews from Imperial County and Holtville Fire responded to the fire.
