(The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb will be held on September 7)...It is a way for the community to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

During the event participants walk or climb the equivelant of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, carrying the name and photo of a fallen hero to symbolically complete their climb. The event is held each year at the Grandstand area at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds. Those who would like to participant can register now. Early registration is $25 through August 23. Onsite registration is $35. Onsite registration begins at 6 pm. Opening ceremonies are at 7:45 pm. The event starts at 8 pm. Pre-register online at iv911.org.
