Wednesday is Juneteenth.

It is a federally recognized holiday, and all non-essential government agencies will be closed. Don't expect mail service or banks to be open. Juneteenth has been a federal holiday since 2021 and marks the day that slaves in Texas learned that they had been freed by President Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation, the executive order that outlawed slavery in Confederate states beginning January 1, 1863. Most businesses will operate normally.
