(Calexico to celebrate Pride Month)....Calexico Recreation has two events planned.

On June 3rd they will host Paint Night. It is a fun filled night of artistic expression to individuals 16 and up. The cost is $10, and that includes all the materials needed to participate. On June 6th, it will be Pride Month Open Mic and Pop-up Exhibit. Individuals of all ages are invited to showcase their talents through singing, dancing, poetry, short stories, painting, drawing etc. It is free to participate. Both events will be held at the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center. Paint Night starts at 5 pm. The Open Mic night starts at 5:30 pm. Call the Recreation Department to secure a spot for Paint Night.
