Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) has a mascot.

AJ, short for Air Justice, is the county's newest ally in the fight for cleaner air. The mascot, developed by the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District, will join the fight to combat air pollution and foster a healthier community. According to APCD Officer Belen Lopez, " AJ represents our dedication to empowering individuals to take action, promote sustainable practices, and ensuring a brighter, cleaner future for generations to come".
